Merrily Gechter- Center Director/ Certified Music Together® Teacher

Merrily's been teaching and directing Music Together With Merrily in Bloomfield Hills for 21 years now and is a certified Music Together® teacher and certified early childhood educator. Music has always been part of her life: she did community theater growing up, sang in choirs all through school, and even spent two summers studying choral music at Interlochen. She taught first grade for four years, but once her first child came along, she found her way to Music Together®—and never looked back. Two decades later, she still loves nothing more than sharing music with little ones and their families in the community.

 

 

 


 

 

 

 

 

 

Merrily Gechter

Merrily has spent 21 years teaching and directing Music Together With Merrily in Bloomfield Hills. She's a certified Music Together® teacher and certified early childhood educator, with roots in community theater and choral music—including two summers at Interlochen Center for the Arts. She spent four years teaching first grade before trading the classroom for a new stage: Music Together, launched right alongside the arrival of her first child. Two decades later, she's still just as thrilled to bring music, joy, and connection to families in the community.
